Only seven laps into the 30-lap USRA Modified main event at the Southern New Mexico Speedway, Donavon Flores takes a wild ride.

Thanks to those who made a well-built race car and quality safety equipment, Flores walked away without injury. He was back in action on Sunday to compete in the finale of the 16th Annual S&S Fishing & Rental USRA Fall Nationals at the Las Cruces, N.M., speedplant.
