The FVP Platinum Battery Shootout for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series hits the Lakeside Speedway in Kansas City, Kan., on Friday, Oct. 20, 2017. The date coincides with the NASCAR weekend at Kansas Speedway, which is less than 10 miles from the Lakeside Speedway.
The FVP Platinum Battery Shootout will mark the eighth consecutive season that the series has competed at Lakeside Speedway and the 18th time overall, dating back to 1980. Each of the last six races for the World of Outlaws Craftsman Sprint Car Series at Lakeside Speedway have seen a different driver visit victory lane.
Donny Schatz, Brad Sweet, Joey Saldana, Kerry Madsen, Daryn Pittman, Shane Stewart, Logan Schuchart, David Gravel, Jason Johnson, Jason Sides, Kraig Kinser, Greg Wilson, Sheldon Haudenschild, Brent Marks, Parker Price-Miller and many more stars will be in attendance.
