Wheatland, Missouri (October 8, 2016) - Brown prevails in Big Buck 50: Derek Brown's misfortune was Timothy Brown's path to victory in the Big Buck 50.
Derek Brown had an apparent flat tire with six laps remaining, ending his bid for a 10th win of the season at Lucas Oil Speedway. Timothy Brown said he hated to see his son eliminated in heartbreaking fashion.
"We both wanted that (Whitetail) hunt," Timothy Brown said.
Burl Woods of Republic finished second, Robbie Arnold was third and Brian Schutt finished fourth. Schutt, who started 20th, won the Ray's Lake Service Hard Charger Award which was worth $500. Street Stocks
